The AMCA Board of Directors has long recognized the need for a centralized source of information and technical data about the antique motorcycles that AMCA members own, restore and ride today...that were built before most of us were born! A member often needed to look far and wide to find accurate information about a particular bike he was working on and our AMCA judges had no definitive resource at bike shows to consult about period-correct restorations.
But now, thanks to the Internet and some very generous literature collectors, much of the information and technical data needed about motorcycles that were built in the USA between 1900 and 1950 is available to you today on this website! We invite you to browse the list of brand name documents at left to see what's there. Some are extremely rare and you must agree not to duplicate any of them for business purposes.
The initial collection was furnished by George Yarocki, and will be expanded in the months to come with other members' collections, including European and Japanese motorcycle literature. We invite other AMCA members and literature collectors to become involved by donating their documents to us for scanning and their safe return.
